AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?
Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents—not humans.
Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.
This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.
Your docs aren't just helping users anymore—they're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.
That means:
→ Clear schema markup so agents can parse your content
→ Real benchmarks, not marketing fluff
→ Open endpoints agents can actually test
→ Honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype
In the agentic world, documentation becomes 10x more important. Companies that make their products machine-understandable will win distribution through AI.

Salesforce Is Turning Slack Into an AI-Powered Work Assistant
Slack is getting its biggest update in years. At a small gathering in San Francisco on Tuesday, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff unveiled 30 new AI features coming to the platform over the next few months, with the centrepiece being a major upgrade to Slackbot, the platform's built-in assistant, which is now being positioned as a full AI agent.
The most interesting addition is what Salesforce is calling reusable AI skills. Users can define specific tasks once, such as creating a budget or preparing a meeting brief, and Slackbot can apply those same skills across different situations automatically. Once a skill is triggered, the bot pulls together relevant information from across a company's Slack channels and any connected apps, builds an actionable plan, and then sets up a meeting with the right people, all without anyone having to manually coordinate it.
Slackbot can also now connect to external tools and services through MCP, the Model Context Protocol standard, including Salesforce's own Agentforce platform. That means it can hand off tasks to specialised agents or apps within a company's tech stack and find the most efficient path to getting something done without waiting for a human to direct it.
For meetings, Slackbot can now transcribe and summarise conversations in real time. Miss something in a long call, and you can simply ask the bot for a recap along with any action items assigned to you. The agent can also now operate outside of Slack entirely, monitoring desktop activity such as your calendar, deals, and conversations, and proactively suggesting follow-ups or drafting responses based on what it observes.
Salesforce has been remaking itself around AI for the past couple of years, and Slack is clearly central to that strategy. With around a million businesses running on the platform, flooding it with AI capabilities is a bet that those users will come to rely on Slack for far more than just messaging.
