Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts
Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.
Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.
Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.
One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.
It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.
Why?
Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025
Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since ‘95.*
Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.
Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.
Shares in new offerings can sell quickly but...

Microsoft Built Its Own OpenClaw and Named It Scout
At its annual Build developer conference this week, Microsoft launched Scout, an always-on AI assistant built directly into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The product is openly inspired by OpenClaw, the open-source AI agent that took the tech world by storm earlier this year before its founder was hired away by OpenAI. Microsoft has taken that same idea of an unrestrained, agentic AI assistant and built it into something more structured, more secure, and deeply connected to the tools millions of people already use for work every day.
The setup is deliberately personal. Users name their own Scout instance and give it ongoing feedback on how they like to work. Over time, Scout learns those patterns and builds them into persistent memories and skills it carries forward into every session. The more you use it and the more you teach it, the more capable and tailored it becomes. That customisation loop is the same dynamic that makes consumer AI tools hard to walk away from once you invest time in training them.
Scout operates in the cloud but works across desktop and browser, making it easy to connect to inboxes, calendars, and other systems. It comes with prebuilt skills for things like calendar management and drafting meeting agendas, but Microsoft expects users to develop their own custom skills over time as the real source of value.
The security piece is notable given the context. OpenClaw famously surfaced real concerns about unsupervised AI agents running amok inside personal inboxes and systems earlier this year. Microsoft has addressed that directly by building a policy conformance system into Scout that continuously checks whether the assistant is operating within set guidelines, with every check producing its own audit trail.
Scout is currently available through Microsoft's Frontier program, which gives early adopters access to experimental products and requires a GitHub Copilot subscription.
