Tip of the Day
Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.
Remember when software made business simpler?
Today, the average company runs 100+ apps—each with its own logins, data, and headaches. HR can’t find employee info. IT fights security blind spots. Finance reconciles numbers instead of planning growth.
Our State of Software Sprawl report reveals the true cost of “Software as a Disservice” (SaaD)—and how much time, money, and sanity it’s draining from your teams.
The future of work is unified. Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.

Lovable Is Speed-running Its Way to 8 Million Users
Lovable, a Stockholm-based startup that launched just about a year ago, is rapidly gaining traction. Its CEO, Anton Osika, recently revealed the platform is approaching 8 million users, up from 2.3 million earlier this year.
Lovable says users are building 100,000 new projects every single day on its platform.
The company has raised a total of $228 million, including a $200 million round this summer that valued it at $1.8 billion. Rumours suggest that new investors are eyeing a $5 billion valuation, though Osika didn’t comment on fundraising plans.
Lovable hit $100 million annual recurring revenue by June, and Osika highlighted a net dollar retention rate above 100%, meaning users are spending more over time.
While growth is strong, there are signs that “vibe coding” platforms like this are facing a dip in traffic. Research showed Lovable’s web traffic was down 40 % as of September.
Lovable is also shifting its focus to more corporate users. Over half of the Fortune 500 are reportedly using it to boost creativity and prototyping. At the same time, it remains accessible for everyday users: one example is an 11-year-old in Lisbon building a Facebook clone for school, and a Swedish duo earning $700 k annually from a startup launched on the platform.
One of the company’s founding moments: Osika built an open-source tool called GPT Engineer which went viral among developers. He then realised the bigger opportunity was empowering people who don’t know how to code.
On the security front, Lovable has introduced multiple security checks before users can deploy, and is actively hiring security engineers. Osika said they want building via Lovable to be “more secure than building with just human-written code.”
Despite competition from big players like OpenAI and Anthropic, Osika is taking a collaborative stance: he believes there’s room for multiple winners and says the aim is unlocking human creativity.
