Anthropic Secures $13B Series F at $183B Valuation
Anthropic has closed one of the largest funding rounds in tech history, raising $13 billion in Series F funding that catapults the company’s valuation to $183 billion. The round was co-led by Iconiq, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from a who’s-who of institutional investors including BlackRock, Blackstone, and sovereign wealth funds.
The funding represents a stunning 3x valuation increase from Anthropic’s $61.5 billion valuation just six months ago. This meteoric rise reflects exceptional financial performance, with annual recurring revenue skyrocketing from $1 billion to $5 billion over 2025. The company now serves over 300,000 business customers, with large enterprise accounts growing nearly 7x in the past year.
Anthropic’s Claude Code developer tool has emerged as a particular standout, generating more than $500 million in run-rate revenue with usage exploding 10x in just three months. The company plans to deploy the fresh capital on enterprise adoption, AI safety research, and international expansion.
This positions Anthropic as one of the most valuable AI companies globally, providing crucial resources to compete against OpenAI, Cursor, and other rivals in the intensifying AI arms race.
