"Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service.
Tip of the Day
We hired one colleague for every department.
Last Tuesday, marketing asked Viktor to write the weekly campaign recap, pull performance from Google Ads and Meta, and format it as a PDF for the exec team. Done in four minutes.
That same afternoon, engineering asked Viktor to review three open pull requests on GitHub, cross-reference with the Linear sprint board, and flag anything blocking the release. Posted to private channel before standup.
At 9pm, ops asked Viktor to draft a vendor contract summary from three Notion docs and send it to the team. It was in #ops by morning.
None of them knew the others were using it.
Same colleague. Three departments. That's what changes when your AI coworker lives in Slack, where your whole company already works. It's not a tool one person logs into. It's a teammate everyone messages.
5,700+ teams. SOC 2 certified. Your data never trains models.
"Viktor is now an integral team member, and after weeks of use we still feel we haven't uncovered the full potential." - Patrick O'Doherty, Director, Yarra Web

Amazon's New AI Feature Talks You Through Products Like a Store Assistant
Amazon has launched a new feature called Join the Chat, and it is exactly what it sounds like. Open a product page on the Amazon Shopping app, tap a button, and an AI voice starts talking you through what you need to know about the product in a conversational style, pulling from product descriptions, specs, and customer reviews all at once.
The feature sits inside a broader experience Amazon calls Hear the Highlights, which has been in testing since last year and already offers short audio summaries on millions of product pages. Join the Chat takes it a step further by letting you ask follow-up questions either by typing or speaking. You could ask whether a coffee maker is good for beginners, whether a sweater feels scratchy based on reviews, or whether a product does a specific thing you care about, and the AI responds directly rather than pointing you to a wall of text to read yourself.
Each answer builds on the one before it, and the AI adjusts what it says based on the direction your questions take. Amazon describes it as being similar to speaking with a knowledgeable store employee, someone who has already read every review and product detail and can just tell you what you actually want to know. The audio also keeps playing in the background as you browse, so you are not stuck on one screen waiting for it to finish.
This sits alongside other AI shopping tools Amazon has been building out, including Rufus, its generative AI shopping assistant, and Help me decide, which recommends products based on your browsing and purchase history. For anyone who has ever scrolled through 400 reviews trying to find one specific answer, that is not a bad ambition.
Join the Chat is available now in the US on the Amazon Shopping app.
